I enjoyed the short stories very much. One of them reminded me of the TV series I used to watch years ago 'Tales of the Unexpected' I recalled Roald Dahl wrote many of these too. It's always nice to get a blast from the past!:)

Just had to pick this book from the bookbox. It has very happy memories for me as I remember my favourite English teacher reading the stories to us more than 40 years ago. She was the one that got me enthusiastic about books and reading and boosted my confidence. I have now had so much fun in my working life for the past 25 years in bookshops and Libraries. Good teachers are wonderful!
