received today. I'm looking forward to reading this as I've heard lots about it. Hope I'm not disappointed. thanks for the mini-bookray.
I didn't journal before I mailed this on to Spikesmom. I tried to read this, but just couldn't get into it. Perhaps like Spikesmom, "high literature" isn't my style. I wanted to like it, but I didn't even make 50 pages.

mailed off to spikesmom today, sorry for the delay
Arrived today and since it's a ring book, I'm going to catch myself up to a chapter break in the 700+ tome I'm reading and then tackle this one. More shortly.
For a change, I'm the dissenter here. It seems that as soon as a book wins an award, I need to take it off my wish list; I just don't like "high literature" and this fits that description to a T.
Off to Midwinter for her OCBZ -- that's an Official BookCrossing Zone. I hope to enjoy this book's travels.

Sorry - it's been here for a while, and I haven't had a chance to journal it. Will be released later today.
