A Valentines Day release from rainbow3. This is intended for Mr Flutterbies9 and has already piqued his interest when he was reading the cover notes. Perhaps this will not be so very long on tbr after all.

No, not at all long on tbr - for either of us!!

Mr Flutterbies9 did enjoy this book, however he was anxious to read the next in series so that he could find out how it all went for the characters as this book does rather leave you in suspension! He thought the WW details were interesting though a little sketchy and did not seem to be thrown by the time travel element - which I had thought may be the element he did not enjoy.

I have also read this book now so that we could get it back to you asap (or at least before you leave for your Orkney holiday!!).

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

More than time that this rather large tome found its way back to you rather than sitting on my pile with the note "rainbow3 wants to read this" stuck to it!

Happy travels little book!

Many thanks, Connie Willis, is such a treat to read. Always lots of character to her characters, and constantly credibility to her stirring plots so I've no doubt this will be a grippy-grabby read. Onto a TBR pile right now and I look forward to reading it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Connie Willie's writing is...
...kind of luminous yet understated, gritty yet gentle, enterprisingly complex and insightful and well worth sticking with. I mention the last as this is quite a tome.

Actually, was intrigued by this and loved it when it was new and I read it as a library hardback book. That, though, was so long ago I thought I'd be happy with a re-read to refresh my memory.

However, I must disperse my huge collection of loved books so this HAS to travel. A decision made easier by the fact I may be able to pass this onto another BookCrosser later today at a BC Meet-up. Fingers crossed someone is intrigued and is keen to lay hands on it as I am loath to part with it, Connie Willis being such a wonder.

● RELEASE NOTES:
DEAR FINDER:
I'm a special book. I'm not forgotten, lost or disgarded. I was left here on purpose to find new readers. On www.bookcrossing.com. you can follow my journey.

Take me with you, read me, and please leave a note about my whereabouts on the website - anonymously, if you prefer.

Then, please release me again so I can travel on, cheers rainbow3.

I've not read any Connie Willis for ages. This sounds a bit like Jodi Taylor's series and definitely sounds like something I'll enjoy
