This is a very interesting book about asking (doh), being an artist today, and being human. It gives a fascinating insight into Amanda Palmer's life so far. As a fan of hers for years I have witnessed many of the events through her blog and twitter, but through this book I feel like she's let me so much into her life, almost like a friend.
I won't deny crying several times why reading. A few things hit a bit too close to home for my liking, but I don't regret reading it for a second.
Although I can't see this book through the perspective of an outsider, I feel reasonably confident in recommending this book to you even if you're not a fan of Amanda Palmer, also if you've never heard of her before.
