You can find the old man by the woman who makes the traditional handcraft of Pag - the famous Pag lace.This is a travelling book.

Dear book, I wish you a pleasant journey!
Hy, My name is Filip and this is my story about the book. My little cousin found that book on the place where the last lady left it, next to the old lady statue. I am from Cesarica, small place opposite to Island Pag. I also have house on Pag so that way I am connected to that place, but Cesarica is my home. This is Cesarica, the most beautiful place on earth:

I got that book very late during last summer so I didn't have time to read it. And when it is not summer, I live in Zagreb(capital of Croatia). I didn't want to read the book in Zagreb but in the place where I like to be the most. So it waited one whole year for me to come back and read it. I haven't read many books in my life, but from that little experience I have, Hemingway is my favorite writer. As I am in acting school, I had to do a small play on my first year based on Hemingway's work „Mountains as white elephants“, and there I realised how good writer he is. I went with a boat on a small lonely beach opposite to Cesarica on Island Pag and stayed there for few hours until I have read the book. It looked like this:

It was hot day in July and as old Santiago was fighting with the fish, I had my own struggle with the hotness as I didn't have cover from the sun. Reading lasted for 3-4 hours and at the end of the story, it gave me tear in my eye. It was really great experience, me alone on the small beach, hearing only waves and my thoughts and seeing beautiful adriatic sea and big and powerful mountain Velebit. This is me after I finished the book:

And when I came back from that beach, I decided I want to give that book to somebody from other part of the world and from different culture. And two weeks later I want to Split on music festival and took the book with me. There I meet great guys from USA and I knew this is it. Young man from other side of the world and he is of Asian ethnicity. And the most important, he is great guy. I have him the book and told him to pass it on. I hope I will read his review of the book here one day. This is me and him:

And that's my story. Life is beautiful, live your life to the fullest and chase your dreams. If any of you readers of this book are ever passing trough Cesarica, come to my house for a beer;)
