Don't Want to Miss a Thing

Dexter Yates leads a charmed existence in London, with money, looks, and girlfriends galore. Life is fantastic until his sister dies. Dex leaves the city behind, takes charge of his eight-month old niece and moves to a beautiful Cotswold village.
From the beginning, I was caught up into the lives of the people in this book. Jill Mansell writes about sad and challenging events in people's lives but always with a comic sense of humor. I did not want to put this book down.

Snagged from the new books bookbox and adding to ever toppling Mt Toobie. Thanks!
from the new book box, only it's not so new any more. Nice English contemporary romance. Dex and Molly are the main characters - will they become a couple? And some other couples turn up also. Good plot.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy!
Thanks and happy reading!

Journal Entry 7 by freezone at -- Bookbox, -- By post or by hand/ in person -- USA on Thursday, June 22, 2023
Chosen from the "intentional variety" book box.
Readable, with lots of fun characters, who all seem to fall in love and/or hook up, as in a Shakespeare comedy.
When you want something that will get you hooked and keep you reading (beach, plane, book, lousy weather) this is perfect. It's not easy to write in such a fun and funny style, but I can't think of much else to say about this book: didn't make me want to change my life or thinking overly much. Recommended for a bit of fun.
Think I will save this for an upcoming bookbox.
