I found this in a bin at Goodwill and remembered really liking it when I was younger. It's better written than most books of the "sick/crippled teen overcomes obstacle" (think Lurlene McDaniel) genre. Izzy, who loses her leg, is a sympathetic but very real character, and there are some good insights to be found in her journey. Paperback.
