I loved the cover on this one. :)
It has good reviews too, so I had been looking forward to reading it. To be honest, I'm not sure I ever really had a good grasp of what it was about. Or I'd long since forgotten. I was totally bewildered about where this one wanted to go. Though I know a lot of Indian novels tend to meander along. That's just the way of them.
Still, I can't say that I was overly interested. The characters weren't really fleshed out as real people. They all seemed to be caricatures of themselves and the narrator just kind of seemed so blase about the events going on, like they weren't really quite a part of him. There was always this disconnected feel.
I just couldn't get into it. :P
