Harper Connelly is requested to show her powers by examining a cemetery for which the books have been found recently, but are not widely known. When Harper stands on the last grave she is shocked to find two bodies below her feet. One is the correct body, the other is Tabitha Morgenstern's, a eleven year old girl, that has been searched by Harper more than a year ago. Harper and her brother Tolliver try to solve Tabitha's murder to get out of the police's attention. It is not very thrilling, but nicely told, how the "siblings" are able to find the murderer.
