WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left in a nearly empty LFL. I wonder if people empty it out to take the books somewhere else? (e.g. to sell them?)

This is a lovely slim book about an artist and written by a highly-regarded art historian from Massachusetts.

I was drawn to this book's cover... a washed out sky, a city landscape, an environment that makes for a mundane yet beautiful day. Reading this book made me realize that was the artist's intention. Reed Kay found beauty in the mundane. Inspiration in the trifles of everyday life. There is something comforting about the impressionist painter strokes and barely there figures in his landscapes. Having been to Boston, the paintings become a reminder of a fond memory you've never quite experienced.
