The Adventures of Tom Sawyer ONLINE
3 journalers for this copy...
This is the first book I'm registering with BookCrossing. I'm reading it now as a school assignment. It is interesting, but not my first choice for a book to read.
It can be found online several places. The location I have bookmarked however is here

There is a restaurant/snack bar just outside the arcade. It is decorated just like a drive in movie theater. Each booth is in the shape of a car with working lights and everything. It even has a large movie screen and the walls and ceiling are painted appropriately. It rocks! Anyway, I left this book in the purple car on the back row. I hope that a reader finds it but I'm not sure that they will register it. Still, I hope....

Tom Sawyer is one of those books teachers love to make students read. Of course most students hate reading it, but those of us who learn to appreciate it never really quit loving it. It sticks with you like oatmeal on a cold day.
This is a GREAT book. I recommend it to anyone.

I read this in school and hated it, but now with the revised version making everyone upset, I thought I'd try reading it again. Thank you!
I gotta say I liked this one better but I think it has more to do with the fact that I have grown up. I agree too with all the people who are upset about the censored version...it just isn't right. It would be like making the mona lisa blonde with big boobs or something.
I mailed this to a bookcrosser who requested it. I am sure they will enjoy it too.
