Read whilst on holiday in France. A light easy read with some insight into life in present day India. I didn't enjoy it as much as The Reluctant Fundamentalist but would recommend it. Interesting and humorous.

Thank you very much to karen07814 who sent me this book as a surprise as it was on my wish list! Really kind of you. I'm looking forward to reading it.
Written, as The Reluctant Fundamentalist was, in an unusual, second person style. Could have been a gimic but I actually liked it and found it easy to read. Overall I enjoyed the book but felt there could have been more character and plot development, rather than cramming an entire lifespan into a short book.
