The 2nd novel by Paul Sussman, for me not quite as good as his first. It was a little complicated, a lot of people and places to follow. As my great interest is Egypt there was not enough happening there! A lot happened in the Middle east, very topical for today. (Aug 2014).
The last few chapters were the best and the ending a bit of a surprise. I have his next novel, but still to find his last, he died in 2014.

I enjoyed this novel, although a bit complicated. Both historical and bang up to date, it gave an insght into the Palestinian and Jewish sitation. A surprise ending.
