This book has been on my shelf for years, so it's about time I read it.

So, I read it, and was sorely disappointed. Its only redeeming quality was that it was a quick read. Maybe thrillers just aren't for me. Hope the next reader enjoys it more.

This just arrived in the post today as part of the RABCK Numerical sweepstake. Really good timing as I've just finished a book and was wondering what to read next. The cover looks like it's going for the same style as M R Carey's books Girl with all the gifts and The Boy on the Bridge. I'm stuck in bed isolating having caught Covid (managed to avoid it for two years) so no access to my books (downstairs and now a bedroom for my wife while I am infectious). So you can probably guess how good it was to have this parcel brought up with my lunch.

Hmmm. So I'm not really into erotic fiction which is where I think I'd place this book. I decided to take it on holiday with me but it felt weird reading it while in a cafe due to its content. The storyline flows easily though the premise and characters are quite hard to believe. I guess it might be a good read for others but not for me.
