I found it a very enjoyable book.

I brought this home with me. A bookcrossing book, released by Bookcrosser herself, always promises to be something worthwhile.

I found it very enjoyable, too! Thelandscape of this journey and the people met along the road ( or lack of road, for that matter) came alive through the words of this writer. I enjoyed his view on how the land has evolved, from Neolithic hunter-gatherers and the first farmers, through the age of the Roman empire until the social and environmental erosion of our age.

Als ik door Ierland ben geweest met een koelkast zal ik de reis door Engeland gaan maken

Reisboeken zijn toch niet mijn ding. Ben met Tony Hawks en zijn koelkast ook maar kort op reis geweest. Ben er dus niet aan toegekomen dit boek te lezen. Maar een reisboek moet natuurlijk op reis, dus ik zal het verder op pad sturen.

RELEASE NOTES:

Ik ga een dagje op stap met mijn collega's. Mooie manier om dit boek verder op reis te laten gaan door het in Den Haag of aan het strand van Scheveningen achter te laten.
