This book has dressed up nicely, to walk into the Tag Game! :)
I don't know chica, it looks really sad. I don't think I'd want to read it myself. But either way, it was on your wishlist. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Ooh I've been looking forward to having this book in my hands!
I can't remember how I heard about it, but I thank you HI77 for flinging this across from the Continent of the Americas to the Continent of Oceania for me to enjoy!
This book came to me 2nd hand from the lovely HI77 who worries about the sadness of my reading taste. It is very apparent that this book once belonged to Winnetka-Northfield Public Library. It make me smile when Winnetka in mentioned at the start of Chapter 9.
It feels wrong to say that I enjoyed this book given it takes you through the authors painful life story of dealing with the death of both her parents.
"Creating this book wasn't just about writing, but about moving forward..."
It inspires you to write about your own troubles, even just in diary form, to air those demons that keep you awake at night. That said, I am sure its something I won't ever do.
I am reading quite a a lot about death at the moment, I might need to pick something a little more uplifting next given my previous 4 reads:
Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom a true story that chronicles the author's time spent with his old professor who is dying
The Son by Michel Rostain tale of a father coming to terms with the death of his son
Before I Die by Jenny Downham a novel about a teenager who has just months to live
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher a novel about a teenager who via tape explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life.
I am really glad that I got the chance to read this memoir.

This is off in a BookBag for the March 2015 Templestow Meet-up that I am unable to attend.
This one of the most honest memoirs of the death of close family that I've come across. I will admit that I didn't take to the narrator initially but she does portray very well the human need for connection as amplified by bereavement. Her spoilt brat beginnings are well forgiven by her altruism and finding of purpose at the end.
