From back cover -
Tea Bag, a young Nigerian girl, has fled a refugee camp in Spain for the promise of a new life in Sweden. Tania has made a long and dangerous journey to escape the misery of life in a brothel. Leila has traveled with her family from Iran.
Meanwhile, celebrated poet Jesper Humlin is looking for inspirations. Harried by his mother and girlfriend, misunderstood by his publisher and tormented by his stockbroker, Jesper needs a new perspective on life. A chance encounter with Tea-bag leads him into the shadow world of the immigrant experience in Sweden. Initially he sees the girls purely as material for his work, but they have very different ideas.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Forwarding to mistlerose as June is her month for Southern Cross Book Exchange. I got so far behind with the rest of this year's recipients that I thought to get this one in early for once.

Rosie, I am not sure if this is the sort of book you like but I liked it and it has a good mixture of issues as well as being written by a very good writer so I hope you'll find something within it.

I'm also sending a book that you likely read in your early reading years - I hope you'd forgotten enough of it so t his will be like reading something quite new. I really enjoyed it but then I am old enough to be your grandmother so might like books that you don't. I hope you'll write journal entries so I know what you think.

Warm regards from your room-mate at one convention. Are you heading to Darwin? Not sure if I can go but one never knows.

Journal Entry 5 by Mistlerose at Frankston, Victoria Australia on Thursday, June 2, 2016
