Icy Sparks
3 journalers for this copy...
Picked it up at the Goodwill in Tinley Park.
Released on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at Meet Up at Cafe Mozart, 600 Davis Street in Evanston, Illinois USA.
Yeah, this book was good up until part 3. I didn't buy the ending at all. And I never really believed the girl was 10 years old. It was all a little too perfect even the characters. Oprah, hunny, you let me down again. :(

Heard about this book and want to read it even though the bxer who released this gave it a lukewarm review. Special interest due to my son's disability. I currently have the book tape in my trunk so maybe this will be a book tape/written copy book. Sometimes that's the only way I get going...
I was very interested because the lead charachter, a 14 year old girl named Icy, has Tourette's Syndrome. I have a 14 year old boy with Asperger's Sydrome. The sense of isolation and teasing from peers seemed so familiar but I think the book is a bit overrated. I am glad that I read it though.
I found it at school during my lunch period. It was lying in the hallway outside the senior advisor chairs' offices. I think I'll read it over spring break.
