Luckily, when I met the real-life duke who was to be my pretend husband, he took my breath away....

Not my favourite MacAlister book. While the premise/story was really interesting, I found Tess, the main character, to be rather annoying. When she wasn't whining, she was definitely talking too much. It's a wonder she ever got with the Duke even once.
