I see this is listed as a horror story. I'd say more a thriller. It's about being stuck in the ice at the top of the earth the Arctic has them in its grips. It's full of tension, imminent disaster, and fear. When a group of scientists explore the possibility of blowing up an iceberg to prove that it could provide fresh water for regions of the earth that are having chronic shortages of drinking water, and find themselves in a precarious situation. Good story!
