Starting tomorrow.

Clear evidence that William Boyd's best writing was at the start of his career. Whilst this owes a bit to Lolita and brings to mind Bonfire Of The Vanities in the early chapters it's a generally amusing farce. Central character Henderson Dores somewhat loses your sympathy after the halfway mark but by the end of the book things have once more got back to a decent level of humour. Now all I need to do is track down the film version.
