Not sure where I got this copy from, but here is my review.
I really enjoyed this modern day interpretation of the Austen novels. A book group is formed and each host in turn chooses their favourite novel for group discussion at the monthly gatherings. Aa the participants are women who love Jane Austen and there is an additional man who is only known by the invitee, and he knows little about Jane Austen. Interesting discussions ensue, as well as solving all the problems of their relationships, friendships and marriages. An easy book to read, not too much detail on the novels, but enough to inspire me to read a couple more.

Sounds like I should enjoy it
It left me a little bemused, probably because I am not terribly familiar with Jane Austen

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Hoping a Jane Austen fan will love this
Picked up at Saturday's Templestowe BookCrossing Meet Up. Saw this sitting on the other end of the table and felt it was mine to take !!! Looking forward to the read.
Caught at today's meet-up, on to Mt TBR it goes.
Some great characters in the story I enjoyed reading about their foibles and the glimpses into their psyches. I feel I know Jane Austen a little now, not sure that it has inspired me to read her, we'll see.
On to the shelf.

Some how this has ended up back with me, not at all sure how that happened, perhaps it is a rescue from Degani which is now non-existent.
This book started life as a library book at the Gold Coast library in Queensland, Australia.
I know meganh, who registered it back in November 2013, will be delighted that it is now continuing its journey, it is now winging its way to the United Kingdom.
Bon Voyage

Thank you for sending this hard back book across the world!
I had this book on my wishlist as it was on the Richard & Judy reading list so I may have missed some of the Austen references. A gentle read.
Gillsil has spotted this on the Read It, Want It UK forum so this book will be heading off to Norwich next :)

I’m very excited to receive this lovely hardback copy of this wishlist book which has already travelled from Australia to the UK.
Thank you so much brunton11 for the RABCK.

I really liked this book and enjoyed the way the device of the book club was used to anchor the unwinding back stories and memories of the different characters, some of which, but not all, they revealed to the other book club members. I found the characters and their stories touching and believable and was pleased that the book was deeper and less formulaic than I had expected.
At the back of the book is a quick rundown of Austen’s six books and various literary and other figures’ opinions of them from Austen’s contemporaries to the present day.
