Im Schatten des Palazzo Farnese

A German translation of a French thriller set in Italy (hope that's sufficiently confusing), with sketchy, but amusing characterisation and a deftly-handled plot. I read this on the journey back from the Christmas holidays and it kept me distracted from the leurgy I still have, the incessant rain and the general post-holiday blues.
I'll offer this up on the bookcrossinguk yahoogroup for it's many multi-lingual readers.
I'm going to take this along to tomorrow's January Bookcrossing Meetup, to see where one of the multilinguals wants it...first chance for some travel for you, little book.

I've picked up this one at the end of the BC meetup at the Cittie of Yorke in London yesterday, despite not wanting to pick up any books as I have a full shelf of books to be read right now... However, I felt pity for the little book...there was no way the book was going to find a home soon, as nobody except Semioticghost and me spoke German, and a release "in the wild" wouldn't have been appropriated... So I am going to send it off to a good BC friend abroad...
Released on Friday, January 16, 2004 at Sent to a fellow BookCrosser in Controlled release, England United Kingdom.
Off as a surprise all the way to Italy :-)
