We came to see the Big Rubber Duck that traveled up the Ohio River and stopped at Point State Park near the fountain. As we were leaving on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 5:25 pm, we were passing the new section of the Fort Pitt memorial that they had fenced off. After taking a few pictures of it, we walked about 10 feet before I saw FREE BOOK advertised upon a plastic bag.
I snatched it off the clothes pin and pondered taking it home or just signing up for this and sending my own books out. I took it home, because there are a lot of kids that we have that love to read down my way. Plus, it sends the book on further. Also, if I send it with my girlfriend's daughter, it will be taken into South Side (Beaver County) and hopefully one of the teachers will do a book drive to send books out.
Upon reading it. I realized that this was more of a cool idea, since I have some of my old books from when I was a kid. I thought there was a reason that I'd kept them.
Thanks for reading. This book was very cute. Nicely written and kept my attention. Highly recommended. For a short read, or for those in elementary to middle school.
