I've read a couple of other books by the same author and was looking forward to this one. I've just finished and I'm feeling slightly disappointed. I loved the writing style. I loved how well I got to know the characters (even if they mostly just made me want to shake them). But the story itself? I don't know it just seemed like a big something and nothing. And then suddenly it ended. Maybe I need a few days to let it sink in.

Found this book in a very interesting place- in a tower in Pembroke Castle when we were on holiday from Cornwall. I had vaguely heard of this scheme but never found a book before so was quite excited at seeing it!! She happens to be an author I like so was pleased to find an interesting read. I agree the story was a bit vague but I loved the charachterisation. Hope other readers enjoy it too on its journey around the country.
