From the back cover:
Every so often a love story so captures our hearts that it becomes more than a story -- it becomes an experience to remember forever. THE NOTEBOOK is such a book. It is a celebration of how passion can be ageless and timeless, a tale that moves us to laughter and tears and makes us believe in true love all over again...

At 31, Noah Calhoun, back in costal North Carolina after World War II, is haunted by images of the girl he lost more than a decade earlier. At 29, socialite Allie Nelson is about to marry a wealthy lawyer, but she cannot stop thinking about the boy who long ago stole her heart. Thus begins the story of a love so enduring and deep it can turn tragedy into triumph, and may even have the power to create a miracle...

What is a bookray and how does it work?

A bookray means that a book passes from person to person based on the list of members involved. Preferably a bookray book is never released into the wild.

To join this international bookray please private message me. I'd be happy to add you to the list!

When you receive the book from the person before you on the list please make a journal entry stating that you've received it. Then read it as soon as you can (no absolute hurry, but be reasonable please!!), and journal again with your thoughts. You'll then need to private message the person on the list after you for their address. Mail the book, and if you want, make release notes on the book. Then you can just sit back and watch how the book continues on its journey!

Received this bookray book today - and have already delved into it - and I'm hooked! Will be sending it off soon. c-a-m just received a copy of it as a RABCK - so will be contacting hshah for their mailing address.

Be warned - this book pulls, no..yanks on the heartstrings. I cried buckets reading it!

Found hshah's address on the RABCK site - so have the book all packaged up and ready to be mailed the next time I make a post office run to town.

Well, this was a moving book...my second Sparks..I enjoy how he manages to keep love so pure and simplistic. I did feel however that it got a bit to traumatic towards the end. Perhaps thats because I was never one for the overly romantic kind of book and prefer realism. Or perhaps I have yet to get married and find out (;-)

Thank you all for this ray..

This book is reserved for Felicia-fairy since it's on her wishlist...
