When on holiday, Summer holiday reading comes into its own and Summer holiday romances positively leap off the charity shop shelves! I found this one in the British Heart Foundation charity shop on Weston-super-Mare High Street on a day out at the seaside during a holiday in North Somerset. I've previously enjoyed two other novels by this author so have a good idea what to expect:
From Notting Hill with Love …. Actually
From Notting Hill to New York …. Actually

The blurb promised action on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, which sounded quite appealing, but unfortunately I haven't got the patience to get there from an unappealing fashion magazine in London! The narrative voice is very annoying, obsessing about designer clothes and such like, and while I'm sure she'll improve under the influence of the magical island, I'm not interested enough to find out! Some chicklit I enjoy if I'm in the right mood! Some I don't!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

On the fundraising shelves between the doors - please make the requested donation to Disability Action Yorkshire, thank you!

Over two million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 nearly ten million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't cost anything and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
