As this is the 1000th book I registered, I've obviously got a passion for books, but there are other passions in my life, which you will read about if someone passes this journal on to you.

Soooooo, what are you passionate about? Books are likely one passion for all of us involved with BookCrossing, so what else fires you up? What gets your blood pumping, your heart pounding, your imagination soaring?? Here is your chance to tell all, but please try to be brief. No more than four pages per person, so as many BookCrossers as possible will get to have their say.

Oh, and it would be really nice if you could include with your journal entry a picture from where you live or of the journal in an interesting spot.

Once again, I'm borrowing the 'stealth' journal idea. This book will move from BookCrosser to BookCrosser, purely karma-driven - no one can request it from anyone else - the current holder decides who to send it to next. If you receive it, make a journal entry, but please don't make release notes (as this takes away the element of surprise) and please DON'T release it into the wild. When it is full it should be sent back to Kiwikat (address inside the back cover).

HAVE FUN and TELL ALL!!! :-)

I have made my entry brief to leave LOTS of room for the contributors who will follow. It will now be winging its way onward to the next 'chosen one'. Hope they have some fun with it!!

Cool. I'm a chosen one :-)

I'll try not to keep this too long, but long enough to write something to make you gasp, laugh, or cry. Maybe all three ;-)

Thanks KiwiKat

I've made my entry. God am I weird!

I'm going to pass this along to someone at our Meetup tonight. I have someone particular in mind because I like the way she rights, but we'll have to see if she shows up.

Hey KiwiKat....maybe when this makes it around to you, you can send it around for another trip, so that we all can see where it went and what people wrote?

Thanks, KiwiKat...this was fun.

i made my entry days ago, but i want to wait until the next bookcrossing meetup to release it, as i think it'll have the best success rate of continuous travel that way.

It's in my greedy little hands now. :) MM gave it to me at the Meetup, and I'm stil thinking about what I want to write. I have a vague idea about where this will go next.

I wrote in my entry (after having it written on the computer for a couple days and delaying actually having to pick up a pen and *gasp* handwrite) and have passed it off. To whom? You'll have to wait and see! :)

Wow! Thanks Crankydragon for choosing me and thanks KiwiKat for starting it! I will write in it soon and make another journal entry when I pass it on.

From reading the entries it seems, as diverse as our lives may be, that we all share some common passions.

Okay! I finally got my random thoughts organized and have made my journal entry. It will travel across the miles tomorrow to a friend I know will make a significant contribution!

What a fantastic idea this is! I wish I had thought of it! Thank you so much Spazcat for "choosing" me. I am honored beyond words. I will be writing my passions in this journal and passing it to someone who I am sure will as passionate as everyone else.

Finished writing my "passions" down and am passing it on to Cwolfgang in Lexington, KY.
