The issue I have with the series is that it is slow to get into the story each time. I like the characters especially Marlowe but I can't really love the series the way I do with other urban fantasy. It does have good original ideas and interesting plots but it doesn't deliver what I'm looking for each time. And I'm not sure I like where the Francis story is going either so I think this will be the last in the series for me.
