This is an older paperback. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I tried reading this in the past year, and was bored to tears. I just can't get into either Russian or Spanish (Marquez, Allende) epics. The endless detail...argh.

I bought this, and a large box-full of other books, at a thrift store maybe a year ago, and put the box in a corner of my boyfriend's house and forgot about it. There are a few books in the box that I really want to read, and I can't believe I had forgotten all about buying them. Well, the box has been rediscovered, and these books are ready for reading and/or releasing. Enjoy!
