This is a quirky book -the 'narrator' is a dog, Mr Bones, and the story follows his sometimes harrowing journey with his friend Willy Christmas. I had severe doubts about the book before I started reading it but it has stuck in my mind ever since. Auster gives a unique 'outsider' view of society through the eyes of Mr. Bones.

Bought in a charity shop on my local high street for 99p! Did not realise until I started reading it that it was a BookCrossing book - had heard about BookCrossing and thought it was a great idea but had not yet come across it. Travelling overseas this weekend - plan to leave the book somewhere in London's Heathrow Airport...
