I finished this quick little book in two sittings. The concept that we each have five people waiting for us when we die, with five different wisdoms to impart as we journey from life to death, is a nice one. It seems a little trite at first, but it all comes together nicely. My favorite of the five people is the last one, who offers Eddie a view of himself he never knew. I also love the photograph at the end of the book of an old man sitting in front of a birthday cake that says "80" on it. Very touching.

I loved it. While I really don't agree that this is what it will be like when we get to heaven. I do think that the basis of the book was good and it was intersting what Eddie would come up with next. (So to speak).

I'm excited to read it, I saw the tv movie and it was so disjointed. Can't wait to read the book!!
