This is an incredible book! I have always had a passion for Egypt and this book has only deepened my love of this country. This story is about a woman in the 1800's who should have been born in the 1900's. She is an independent, clever, smart-mouthed woman with a love for the Middle East.
This is her true story of a life full of war, pain, happiness, mystery, love, and anything else you can think of! She was a spectacular person who changed the world with her huge influence in politics and the people of the Middle East.
I cannot express how wonderful this book is and how informative it is as well. If you have any wish to know more about the Middle East or are at all intrgued by the place, this is definately not a book you want to miss!
