Am very excited to read this.
lovely, lovely. It took me about 3 days to read this book; I'm suddenly inspired to become a gourmet chef. I wish I read Spanish, spoke Spanish, lived on a hacienda in Mexico, had the talent to make my own chocolate.....damn this nova scotia winter!
I picked this up at today's monthly meeting and was immediately importuned--"You have to read this!" is how I think it was expressed to me, something I've said to many people about many books over the years, and how could I resist? I've picked up way too many books that I haven't yet read (I already promised someone else today I'd read the Nadine Gordimer book I got from her at last month's meeting), but, you know, when someone orders you to read a book....

Uncommon Ground, 11 a.m., our usual monthly BookCrossing meeting at a new location. Lots of people, lots of books, lots of coffee, lots of conversation (and some of it may even be about books!).
I never got around to reading this and I won't have time to, unfortunately, so it's time to put this back into circulation.

Picked up this book at the monthly meetup. I've heard it's fabulous. I'm definitely looking forward to reading it.
I loved the format of this book. It was written as a cookbook, but each dish or remedy relates to an ongoing romantic fairytale.
Be prepared to crave Mexican food when you read this intriguing story.
