Very good urban fantasy that really kept my attention -- and considering that I have the attention span of a gnat, that's saying something. I especially liked that there wasn't the usual gothic vampire nest ruled by some creepy overaged slimeball, just a stubborn young vampire trying to work out her issues. The shapeshifting panther who is just as good looking as a human helps too, and I might add that the sex scenes didn't leave me flipping through the pages, thinking "Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have the hots for each other and this is the most mind-blowing sex ever, can we puh-lese get on with the plot?"

It's the second book in a series, so I'll have to keep an eye for more by this author. In the meantime, it will be on the Official Book Enchange shelf here at work.

I picked this up at the recent BCinDC meetup in Ballston and didn't get around to journaling it until just now because I am a lazy sack of crap. I probably won't be reading it, but I think it'll make a good themed release next time I donate blood.

Received as a RABCK, which also seems like an early Christmas present. I'd like to thank everyone for keeping this book moving in the world. I'll be sure to do the same when I finish it, hopefully early next year. :)
