But when they go beyond the boundaries of normal morality their lives are changed profoundly and for ever.

This has taken me ages to read. I was determined to finish but then wondered why I had bothered. It's an overly-long and affected story of college "intellectuals" who cover up a death, murder a friend, drink, and do drugs. Hard to like anyone or anything about this book.

I'm taking this to the Convention to give to someone who has it on their wishlist. Unfortunately I can't remember who it is. Let's hope I remember before I get there - I think I have a gift tag written in my suitcase.

Although it took me a long time to get to it and ,as I’m not reading much at the moment, a long time to read I did enjoy this story. Hoping to get to a post office soon to pass on through a VBB choice, some time ago 😊
