This is a book I never would have picked up on my own, but I'm glad I did. I found it in a bag of books in my laundry room. While spending one very late night repairing my computer, I picked it up to have something to do between reboots.
Turns out it's a witty, original collection of short stories centered around the occupants of a fictional apartment building in Manhattan. So far it's avoiding the "OH MY GOD NEW YORK IS THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD" trap and is focusing squarely on the characters.
