I finally found the chance to read it and my God, the book is so dark. I would have died a hundred times if I was in the Handmaid's place. Something that was of interest for me was that I never found the name of Offred... all the others were called by their real names except her. And the end was so doubtful.
I don't like book-noire ;)... I didn't enjoy 1984 for example... but this book was an exception.
It's now reserved for Dreamer2 who is becoming a great pal. ^_^
