I love this book! Esquivel is great at spinning that typical Latin American blend of earthiness and mysticism. Wonderful Mexican recipes are scattered through this love story. I plan to make an SSM release tomorrow evening at Lupita's restaurant in Evanston, IL, where they'll be featuring a "Like Water for Chocolate" menu.
