it is the first in the Marcus Didius Falco novels and I liked this one similarily to the others that I have already read.
The political plot was a little bit boring, therefore less points have been given, but the way how Marcus sees the world and comments it, is rather funny.
I also was interested in the love story - is a poor farmers' boy able to win the senator's daughter...
Silver pigs are created in the process of mining silver and are not pigs at all...
