Received this in the mail today; thank you, Kislany, for the lovely RABCK and also the pretty stamps! My stamp-collecting relatives are going to flip when they see stamps from Cyprus!
I can't believe this book had been sitting on my TBR pile since 2006! I just finished it last night, but am sorry to say I feel it is NOT one of Kellerman's best. It took me 3 weeks to read it -- it was that tedious. It had too many characters, no clues as to how they're all connected, and was way too predictable and convoluted. Kellerman goes off on too many different tangents and lists too many details. Case in point: Alex and Milo get lost for two solid pages and the reader is subjected to endless details of the surrounding streets/neighborhoods. To me this is not the mark of a New York Times bestseller. I tried donating it to my local library but they told me they already had too many copies. That speaks for itself.
