Bought at a used book sale at one of the local libraries. I always enjoy a good Nero Wolf story. This is a hard cover from 1965.
Quite good. One of the better Nero Wolfe novels, and that is saying something. Sharp writing as Wolfe and Archie Goodwin cross minds with the FBI.
Adding to Trekwoman's Book Box #1 - Small Packages.
Chosen from Box #1:Small. Thanks for including it.
Just finished. Good read. I think I know who the next reader will be.
Off to Aberpeter as part of the Surprise Book Ring.
The book arrived today. Thank you!
This was my first experience with a Nero Wolfe story.
Nero Wolfe has been hired to determine why the FBI is following Mrs. Bruner. Through his and Archie Goodwin's investigations, the murder of Morris Althaus seems to be connected. With sharp and witty writing, Nero and Archie cleverly solve the mystery. All is well that ends well.
