This book was referred to me by my sister as one we could both read together and then share about. I cannot put it down! The writing is sensual in it's rich details, pulling you into the story as if you are right there.
The characters are vivid and alive before you reach page 50, and it's definately a book anyone of any age can enjoy.
Be prepared for memories of your own life and family relationships to flood upon you, and then share this book with people you love.
You will catch yourself thinking about it and laugh the first time you call something, "Ya Ya".

This was a very enjoyable reading experience.... Wells gave me goosebumps at times... and tears at others... there are treasures in this book from beginning to end! Let me add my favorite lines from the book: "The point is not knowing another person, or learning to love another person. The point is simply this: How tender can we bear to be? What good manners can we show as we welcome ourselves and others into our hearts..." That's great stuff!!!
