Once upon a time, at Christmas, many years ago, I was given the most beautiful book called the Hobbit. This book had the most amazing illustrations, one of them I copied in charcoal for my art class - Smaug the Dragon! This drawing ended up taking over 5 sheets of drawing paper and is in my artist's portfolio.
I couldn't find this book after so many years so I had to buy myself a paperback copy for Christmas, perhaps my daughters and I can read it together this time.

Once again, I was thrilled to read about the adventures of Bilbo!!
I have promised this copy to a new friend far away across the world from me. Since I can't do this journey myself, Bilbo is going on another adventure!
