Now abandoned and largely forgotten, Angelfield House was once home to the March family - the fascinating and manipulative Isabelle, brutal and dangerous Charlie and wild, untamed twins, Emmeline and Adeline. The house hides a chilling secret which tore their lives apart. Now Margaret Lea is investigating the house's past and the March family mystery begins to unravel. As she digs deeper, parallel stories unfold and the tale uncovered sheds a disturbing light on her own life.
I managed to persuade Fremmedordbok that this would be an excellent book to bring back from the meetup in Stavanger today. ;)
You sure did, Lunacia! Still wondering how I ended up grabbing two books yesterday, after promising myself that no, I wouldn't. But then again, they were exciting books, like this one, and I guess it is a well known phenomena in the BC world!
Thank you so much for the nice meeting, Lunacia, and for convincing me into taking the book ;)
