following the common grisham theme of "honest lawyer takes on the bad guys", i agree with the previous journal entry that this is definitely one of his better takes on the idea. the story is fast moving and well paced, the characters for the most part well defined and believable. the only let down for me was the ending, which i found a little too convenient and "hollywood" for my liking. nevertheless, it was a real page turner and well worth a look.

"A homeless man takes nine lawyers hostage." Hmm, I personally didn't enjoy this as much as some of his other novels. Not only does the plot seem to lack originality, the ending is by far one of the weakest I have ever read. Offering back on relay.
