Journal Entry 1 by dolphin-au from Lake Macquarie, New South Wales Australia on Sunday, December 9, 2012
This is not one of the easiest books to read, but well worth a serious effort. It gives a great impression of 18th century America and of the spirit of the time. I only read one other book by Pynchon before (Vineland) and this book was nothing like that, which shows the versatility of this author. I'll have to read more of his work.
