Trying to read all the John Grisham novels... but why???
Nov 29: Finished! I'm trying to read every John Grisham novel, but after I finish one, I always wonder why I'm trying this. Grisham is a good storyteller and his novels are a quick read... but I NEVER like his endings -- he never brings things to closure -- or maybe he takes the "easy way" out after he's gotten us SO far with a creative or interesting story. And I have to say, The Associate follows suit. It was an interesting premise -- an associate of a major law firm blackmailed to steal confidential data from his law firm -- but the ending was .... dull. Too bad! So many loose ends!!! Ahhh...
Nov 18: Need a light, quick and easy read because I'll be on the beach by the end of the week! (Rio de Janiero!)
