Picked up from the free shelf at the used book store on Saturday. From Amazon:

What you're holding in your hands is a very funny and sometimes poignant look at fathers. It's filled with stories of what it's been like as a dad and a son, from a child's first day of kindergarten to the awkward sex talk, right up to the day the always practical dad tries to pay for college with bonus miles.

While bookstores are filled with tales of mothers, their children, and families, there are so few from the dad's side. Now, as a public service, I'm doing my part to right this wrong.

It's a good thing I didn't look very hard at the cover before I picked this up. I likely would not have read the book if I had noticed the Fox & Friends reference, and the thank yous at the end include one for Roger Ailes! I had not heard of Steve Doocy but he works for Fox News, and apparently his son does too. Yeek!

Anyway, the book itself is quite enjoyable. I liked the parts where Doocy talked about his own childhood and his father more than the stories of his parenthood. Overall, he seems like a down-to-earth, funny guy.

But the Fox News part....
