Apologies for lack of detail on this: I'm on a limited time and insecure connection, but will try to pop back here one day to tell you what I thought about this one. If you journal it, then maybe the notification that Bookcrossing sends to me will be the reminder I need.

Happy reading!

Picked up from the book table at the Colchester Unconvention (29 Sept). To add to my Ian Rankin collection, having so far only read the first two in the series.

Apologies for delay in registering.

Finally got to book 8 in the Rebus series. Iain Rankin’s intro to this book suggests he feels this is where he, the author, had settled into his stride and his character, Rebus, also. The book won a couple of awards for crime writing.
Several cases come together and Rebus spends some time in Aberdeen and Glasgow following lines of enquiry that seem to be converging. An enjoyable read which also provides some info on the oil industry in the North Sea.
